Historically, most martial arts were practiced on wood floors, straw tatami, or even dirt; the 2.5cm Hatashita Tatami offers the firm surface and grip of traditional tatami with the protection today's practitioners need, so you can train hard without sore joints or twisted ankles the next day. This mat is ideal for stand-up combat sports such as karate and TKD, as well as primarily ground-based training like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Free shipping on retail orders over $149.99 before tax. Mats ship on a separate timeline from the rest of our catalog and don't qualify for free shipping. Orders placed before 11:00 AM ET ship same day; delivery typically takes 1-7 business days within Canada for all other items.
