Compared to the competition, the price is excellent, and the delivery was incredibly fast — it took less than 24 hours, and I’m in Québec City! Now, about the quality: VERY IMPORTANT if you are looking for a bokken for hard contact training, this one is not for you. I didn't try it and I wouldn't but the oak wood quality isn’t great (see pictures); I noticed some small cracks that could cause it to break under strong impact. That’s the reason for my 3-star rating. However, if are a beginner and you only need something affordable to practice katas, this is a perfect choice !! I hope my comment helps you make a decision and encourages the seller to improve the quality

I too am a 4th degree black belt and have had several gi's in my lifetime. Quality and cut is excellent but I agree with other reviewer that it does not have a crisp snap for it's price range. Size is on point though with sizing chart.

I really like these gloves . The 10 oz fit very snug . Feels great when hitting the bag with these . It may take 2 or 3 sessions to break them in a bit.
